This bear is my mom, who cheerfully freestyles concoctions from various cup remnants at the end of the day. She'll mix a Job's tears cereal-y powder drink, orange juice, wine, coffee, umeboshi syrup, turpentine, etc. She enjoys my disapproval.
This design was painted with Chinese brushes and Chinese black calligraphy ink onto thick, premium raw rice paper. It was then made into a letterpress plate and individually pressed on a vintage flatbed cylinder Vandercook press, onto soft cotton paper.
A1/4-Baronial card size (3.5 x 4.875 inches). Paired with gold envelope.
